New Publication: The Transition to the Third Hellenic Republic

The Konstantinos G. Karamanlis Foundation, in collaboration with Patakis Publishers, has published a new edited volume entitled The Transition to the Third Hellenic Republic.

The volume brings together contributions by distinguished scholars from Greece and abroad, based on papers presented at the international conference organised by the Konstantinos G. Karamanlis Foundation under the title 50 Years since the Transition to Democracy: Democracy in Our Time.

The volume is edited by Konstantinos Arvanitopoulos and Ioannis Chalkos, and features a foreword by Achilleas Karamanlis.

The book has a twofold purpose: first, to revisit the critical events surrounding Greece’s transition to democracy from a fresh interdisciplinary and international scholarly perspective; and second, to make a substantive contribution to both academic and public debate on the development and evolution of the Third Hellenic Republic.
